yuppy! the oilers are in the stanley cup finals, babay! hehe! it's been a whopping 16 yrs, since we've had a stanley cup in e-town. edmontonions have been very hungry for this cup, and soon their tastes will be satisfied! k, that last bit made no sense.

still, the oilers officially became the western conference champs last night in anaheim by beating the mighty ducks with a score of 2-1. ethan moreau got his first playoff goal (tying goal of the game) and rafi torres scored the insurance goal. whoopee!

k, i must say that it is quite entertaining to go to a lyrics website and to see one of my fav songs be on the "top searched lyrics". k, this is kinda a shocker, the one i'm talking about is kajagoogoo's song called "too shy". i love that song. i even listened to it today.

my current "present day" fav is called "miss murder" by afi. i know i'm not a very big fan, but of the 4 songs i know, i enjoy all of them. so, i'm thinking of finding their new cd or something. k, i really like the dude's voice, but if u've ever seen him, u'd agree that he looks quite girlish. hehe. however, i'm glad he listened to me and cut most of his hair!

well, i'll try to respond to the previous post's comments, but that thing won't let me comment.

yes, we must all get together, whether it be to watch a video, or to watch a film in the theatres. i'm so excited that my amazon shipment will be arriving shortly. if anyone's interested in watching an asian film (quite interesting) or a film from then czechoslovakia (quite funny), well, u can borrow my films!

i really need to control my spending. i have been buying way too many books/dvds.

it's been a while since i last posted. actually, this will prolly be a short post. um...this past weekend i visited family in calgary. i was reminded why i didn't want to stay with them during our choir tour to calgary. gosh, i wonder what it's like to have nice family members who pick at their own faults or accept others of picking at them, if they're gonna pick at u! i don't do anything rude to them, but NO they always have to comment how much weight i've gained. if they really cared, i'm sure they'd realize i have a problem! yeesh, people are so stupid!

2 weeks ago i bought the 2nd book in the "6x" series called "loud, fast and out of control". k, ur all wondering what in the hell i'm talking about. well, last summer i kept obsessing over a teen book called "6x: uncensored confessions" and this year, book 2 came out. actually, book 2 is supposed to come out in june but for some reason all of the chapters stores had copies in may. i'm not sure how that works! i'm glad i didn't order from amazon, otherwise i wouldn't have had the book till july. so far, the book is exciting. yesterday i finished a book called "mates, dates and chocolate cheats". it's like a younger version of bridget jones (it's british). i enjoyed it, it's like book 8 or something in a very long series. k, i have a problem with book buying. i have so many i haven't read yet! but, they're all so good!

yay, i'm awaiting my amazon shipment. i purchased 2 films i enjoyed from film studies, books 1-4 in the mates/dates series (it's in one huge book), and a copy of george bernard shaw's "caesar and cleopatra". do u all remember "NOT FROM THEE, BABY"? sorry, i enjoyed that play.

wow, this post is longer than i thought. well, there will be some more, i still have to write about the franz concert, and choir tour. anyone wanna see "peter pan" the musical, with me? well, i highly doubt it that anyone will respond to that question. whatevs!

we should all go out again. i would love to see "american dreamz". k, that was another useless attempt at having people respond. sorry!

well, i've been back since sunday. i went to the annual UAMC spring tour for 9 days and we went to 9 different places (mainly in BC). it was quite enjoyable. i'll write a post on that later on.

well, i am currently jobless but i just applied to costco, and will do some more applying soon. hopefully i can get a job soon. i guess if all else fails, i could apply to zellers, but it won't be the same as last year considering the facts that a)most of the people i worked with are gone b)the creeper from the mall's store has moved much closer to zellers and c)the lady doing the hiring is a bitch and the nice lady left. so, hopefully i don't have to do that!

last night's oilers game was SO EXCITING! wow! the way the oilers played, u'd think we would be leading the series 2-1 or at least, u'd think we would have won the game during the 3rd period, rather than during the 6th period (3rd overtime). i must give credit to the goalie for san jose (vesa toskala) he saved a whopping 50+ saves! yay, horcoff scored the winner! wow, i'm so glad the game was in rexall, however, there must have been some kids who were asleep during those overtime periods. the game ended like 12:45am or maybe it was 1:45am, i can't remember. i'll post the tsn's link for the game.

yah, that game was truly amazing!
