you know what would be funny? if people had their msn name set to one of their friends. for example, if i had my msn name to lori, and she had hers as mine, wouldn't that be funny? i dunno, i just thought of that. wow, it took me awhile to remember how to spell the word "thought", i know that's sad.

today i had my first chem 102 lab. that wasn't so hot. i went to the wrong lab room (i somehow read the wrong number!) and that was embarrassing! then, we had to work in partners so my partner (a guy who's name i don't know) prolly thought i was a moron because i had to ask him the simplest questions and all. oh, i needed poorna's help for every question on my prelab, so that wasn't good! man, this day was sure not a chem lab day. u know what sucks? the original lab room i went in, actually had people i know! uggh, oh well, u can't win them all. it's nice making friends at the "u". i like being able to sit with someone in every class (except chem, somehow every seat is taken). yes, i think a lot of morons who aren't in my chem class decide to take over, therefore i get screwed out of a seat a lot of the time! i hate those people, seriously, either switch out earlier or just ask ur friends about deakin's lecture! btw, deakin is my chem prof and she's quite good. so if any of u high school kids wanna take chem 101/102, try to get in her class! bah, i should go to sleep. uggh, i have a lot of things due/happening on monday and tuesday, not a good thing!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMANDA! i know ur not here anymore, but i'd like to say happy birthday to u anyway. wow, u would have been 19 and legal in ontario and bc. oh well, ur having a party with stef and lou, and that's much more interesting than being legal across the country! have a good time, and i all miss u. i know u don't care, but i left u a comment on ur blog. maybe u can see it from up there, maybe not. oh well, i hope ur having a good time, which i know u are. wow, it seems like i'm writing this message to a physical human being, but i'm not. oh, well, i do miss u a lot. there's this girl in choir who reminds me of u, it's strange, i always wanna say, "hey amanda" but she's not u, and she'll never be. happy birthday!

this is so depressing! i just opened up an email that was for a birthday reminder, and guess who's birthday is coming up! it's amanda's! that was sad. man, she would have been the first one to turn 19 this year. i miss them all. i hope they are great, i'm sure they are.

it's been a while since i last posted. i can't remember the last date, but school's started so i won't be posting much for a while. last week was good (first week back), but now the assignments and labs start. i have a bio lab tomorrow, but my chem lab starts next week (yes!). class sched is good. MWF 10am to 2pm and TTh 11am and for this tuesday i'll end at 5pm, however i'll end this thursday at 12:20pm! hehe. my psych prof is funny, and i know about 6 people in the class and i recognize some from my other psych class. english is good! i got an A- on my midterm which is pretty good, even though our midterm was quite easy (no essay). now we are doing research projects and finishing up our oral (group) presentations for ATONEMENT. i like that book, however i'm only half done (hehe) so, i do recommend the book, yet be aware! there's a questionable scene (couple of pages) in it. chem is good, i have the same prof as last semester (yay!), so i'm happy. and it's stuff from chem 30ib actually chem 20ib right now, but more indepth. bio is pretty good. i have a good prof and we're learning stuff from bio 20 so that's good. however people say that it gets very boring. oh well! btw, i have to write a bio midterm on my birthday! blah! and math is review from last semester right now, but it seems like it'll get hard! i have the same prof as last semester, but i don't really know if it's a good thing or not. at least she speaks english! btw i'm in desperate need of my math textbook's solutions manual! i have to finish my math assignment for tomorrow! uggh! i hope my labs are good. that'll be sweet! yah, and if i have good TA's, i'd be extremely happy!

nothing else going on in my life, however i did make delicious cheesecake a couple of weeks ago, i made yummy peanut butter cookies on the weekend, and i'm proud of that. see, my mom doesn't let me bake stuff, she says it's too much of a hassle, but she's right that the oven is stupid. the oven doesn't bake things properly. however, the batch of burnt PB cookies i made, are actually quite tasty! yum, yum! hehe. and, it wasn't my first time making cheesecake, i think that it's my 4th time or so. i've leaned that leaving cheesecake in the fridge for longer than 3 hrs makes it tastier. i wish it wasn't all finished. oh well, maybe next long break we have.

well, being sick sucks! see, i was vomiting a lot on saturday night (time frame: 11pm 10 7am (sun)). so that sucked ass. now i'm not vomiting, but i can't really eat anything! oh well, i don't feel hungry so that's good.

yay, the canadian junior team won gold at the world juniors against russia! the score was 6 to 1. sweet!

i saw jeff twice yesterday, once at starbucks with laura ( i went with him there) and i saw him in the evening at boston pizza with a bunch more people. we all hung out and talked. it was fun! too bad i didn't see jess. oh well, have a good time back at school!

life still sucks, but no school stress. in less than a week that will change! bah, i hate school stress, it's one of the worst kinds of stresses!

i just wanna add, the number 1 song of 2004 on the bear was "coldhard bitch" by jet.
the number one song for rick dess' countdown of 2004 was "yeah" by usher. well, i can't figure out the other countdowns, their websites don't help me much!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! yay! wow, it's already 2005, a year where i'll be 19 (legal in both ontario and bc!). well, last night was interesting! see i went to see sam roberts, the waking eyes, and tupilo honey (sp?) in concert for the bear's new year's eve bash. laura p, meghan, carmen and i went. well, meghan, carmen and i were there first (shaw conference center) and laura met us afterward (she was coming home from a trip). well, before laura came, tupilo honey and the waking eyes played. i enjoyed their concerts, they played some good songs. the waking eyes played their new one "beginning" and i really liked it (i liked it from before). yah, meghan and carmen drank some coolers and were beginning to get drunk! btw, i was sober, yes i know i'm weird but i don't think that drinking would be good for me right now. i don't wanna become addicted, because i know I WILL!

then, 2 guys from beaumont were talking to us. well they offered us beer (they each had 3, but i'm not sure why), and carmen took one. one guy was talking to meghan a lot. it was kinda funny. the other guy was just there. yes, drunk nice guys are good.

then laura called meghan's cell phone to tell her she was in the building. we went outside (foyer area) to wait for her. finally she arrived and we were all excited (she was on vacation until yesterday). i was excited a lot, even though all i had was a waterdown sprite! well, we went back inside and our table was taken so they decided to sit with some random drunk guys. hehe, drunk guys! i like the nice ones, not the creepy ones! i would hope most of u would agree.
yes, well we were all talking and it was funny. and the guy who was talking to meghan earlier came back with his friend. he bought her a drink and somehow managed to spill beer on her ass. hehe!

yah, well sam was about to start so we all (the girls, those guys were getting drinks) went into the mosh pit. i couldn't see anything! stupid tall people and drunk people who kept moving in my way, so that they blocked sam from me every second! oh well. i finally got near the front, but then people started pushing and shoving in the middle ( i was on the right), so i got pushed back to the corner! also, people behind me were pushing to get in front! it was so annoying, there was NO ROOM and they were still trying! i was glad the floor was sticky, that allowed me to NOT fall down! or anyone else, for that matter. oh, and this girl randomly was kissing everyone's cheek and saying "happy new year!" even though it wasn't midnight yet! yah, and there was this couple where the girl apparently was hitting on some other girl's boyfriend and that girl got pissed off at her (no fighting). and the same "hitting on boyfriends" girl pinched some other guy's butt and he kept staring at her. i'm glad he didn't think it was me (i was right behind him), and he had a g/f too and after the song, they left. the same girl asked me if i wanted a drink, and her boyfriend kept talking to me. he was like, "are u here for sam roberts?" and i said "yes" and some other stuff. and at the end of the convo he said "i guess ur not drunk enough", i think he was saying something that would have been funny if i was drunk, i dunno. btw, he was wearin the table cloth as a cape. oh, shaw conference center was set up with lots of tables and the area infront of the stage was empty for moshing. yah, and after the couple, some really drunk guy was pushin his way through and grabbed my shoulder kinda hard. he tried to grab my arm and i didn't let him. ewww, i don't wanna know what he had in mind! well, apart from all that, i managed to get beer spilled on my side! bah! and when it was new year's, the band was spraying people with beer (not champagne) so that hit my forehead and stuff. but i like the band, so i'm okay with that, not with randoms spilling on me!

well, i still say that sam roberts is an AMAZING performer! however, he didn't play my song again! my song is higher learning. oh well, i'll just have to go to another concert (*wink, wink*). i did buy another t-shirt, though. it's brown and has a pic of everyone in the band. i should be careful with that, i should stop buying stuff! oh well, i like it. and i do make use of it.

all of my clothes reek of smoke and booze! oh and if u haven't been to a mosh pit before, be aware that people stink and fart a lot and it smells nasty, believe me!

gotta love being the only sober one there! u get to watch a lot of drunk people screw up! laura, meghan and carmen were fun to watch. they were all yelling a lot, and laura kept swearing at everyone and everything! hehe. yah, and some random guy put his arm around meghan and i and i think wanted all of us to go somewhere with him. hehe. man all the guys that invited us to screwyass parties. man, i love not perverted drunk guys! they don't care what u look like, but they still don't hurt u!

oh, and there was laura who was trying to meet sam roberts! well, she's already met him, and brought her pic of her, sam and meghan, so that he'd let her backstage. prior to that, she got the song list and a guitar pick from a band member (from the stage). and instead of sam, she got the autograph of the lead singers (there were 2 of them) from the waking eyes (i like to call one of them "carrot top" due this his orange afro) and a band member from sam roberts. there was this security guard near the entrance to sam's dressing room and laura kept talking to him. he was very nice, he wanted to let laura in but he couldn't. except laura swore at him before we left, i dunno y, she swore at everything. she swore at the lady in the "merchandise" booth who wasnt' even selling sam stuff. and she asked that lady 10 things regarding sam items, but the lady didn't sell his stuff!

yah, well the security guards were kicking everyone out of the building. and laura was trying to sneak in the back of the building to meet sam. we all knew it was bad. so carmen and i started walking back to the building's entrance and luckily laura and meghan followed. and we finally left. now, the security guards kicked everyone out of the building, so all these drunk people were waiting outside for cabs, and we found one eventually. so yah, laura was in the front and somehow managed to navigate us to meghan's house. we all stayed over at her house. laura drank more, hehe, and so did the rest. i tried some pina colada stuff that kinda tasted like cough syrup which, luckily, didn't leave an aftertaste! we pigged out on chocolates and alphagetti (tin food). each person that was drunk called it alphabets (the cereal) at least once. laura said some weird stuff like "i have some weird stuff in my stomach", and changed the subject a lot. she also thought it said 2:52pm today when it said 2:30pm on the microwave clock.

well, we fell asleep at about quarter to 6am and we woke up at 12 pm or so. well, i think everyone had less than 6 hrs of sleep.

i found the evening to be amusing and good, however if the stupid tall people weren't in my way, i could have watched sam. he was really close to me during one of his songs, and i did see him head to his dressing room. there was a cluster of his band and people but i did see him sneak by. hehe! wow, being really tired makes u feel drunk! oh and having a hoarse voice after cheering for sam doesn't help much either.

all in all, i hope u guys all had a great new year's and here's to an AWESOME and AMAZING 2005!
