hey there! u know what's funny? well, i was watching madtv and 2 of the cast members were interviewing celebs at the emmys. now, at the end of the skit/interviews, the girl was saying that she had to return her earrings from CLAIRE'S ACCESSORIES (at some random location in the states) or else she'd have to pay $6! hehe! i found that to be funny. speaking of the store, they hired a couple of new girls, and one girl apparently isn't very good at her job (even though she was an assisstant manager at ardenes before). well, there's the funny story.

now, for a strange story. well, i was at the new jubilee auditorium (it's big inside now, kinda reminds me of the winspear) and i had to take the 401 bus back to sherwood park. man, was that an experience! well, i took the lrt from uni to the churchill stop and missed my chance at the 7:30pm bus. actually, i missed my bus by a few minutes. well, i was trying to get out of the lrt station and i got lost, so finally i decided to get out the winspear exit and i was frantically searching for 401 bus stop! finally, i found it, but i still had 45 min to kill. i decided to go to 2nd cup and use their bathroom (u actually have to be a paying customer to use it) so, i had to buy something. i'm glad i did, cause after i picked up my square i saw kailey (from uni) and she was with her friend brad. it was crazy! then a bunch of their other friends came in and it turns out that one of them is in mixed chorus (her first year in both uni and choir, yet she's our age) and she's 11 days younger than me! sadly, she was a soprano II, not an AMAZING alto I! hehe, but it was SO awesome! i met a bunch of people and managed to kill my time. it's crazy how that works. uggh, prior to meeting those people, i saw a drunk guy stagger across the street yet somehow knew to go back to the sidewalk before cars came! i hate downtown when ur by urself. oh well, i was glad to have missed my bus, in a sense, cause then i met some new people and saw kailey. after my bus ride to sh. park, i took the "dial-a-bus" (from the station) for the first time. the driver was very nice and she dropped me very close to my house, even though the actual bus stop was on the opposite side of the road! so, that was extremely nice of her. well, that was my crazy night! well, not very crazy, but crazy enough! :)

well, i am an official member of the bnl fan club! yay, u don't have to pay anymore! anyway, i was looking at their concert dates, and they are playing a concert in calgary on dec. 19, but i'm not sure of the time. also, i can't remember if i have an exam the next day or not (i prolly do). maybe then i can attend the winnipeg concert on dec. 21st! uggh, i wish they would come back here, but who knows? oh well, i'm glad that they'll be in canada soon.

ooh, i finally finished this book called "6X: the uncensored confessions" on tuesday. it was awesome! i know, it sounds lame 'cause it's a teen book but it was exciting. it was about the start of a teen band (6X) and how all the behind the scenes of a band works. ooh, i can't wait till the next book, i think it's next year! now, i started the shopaholic series. i bought most of the books this summer, but there are still 2 more i need to get.

well, this week is over (yes)! and well, what can i say. i had my first organic chem lab, and i was like the 4th person to finish, which was a MAJOR surprise! also, my locker reeks from my lab coat! i met my "locker buddy" on thursday, k he calls me his locker buddy, so don't ask me. actually, he's very nice. um... i met up with jocelyn from honour/youth choir, yesterday and that was fun. i dunno, there were more interesting events but i can't remember. i'm looking forward to singing the beethovan piece with the other 2 choirs and the orchestra, it sounds fabulous in practise!

i remember that last week (tuesday) i took the 5:30pm bus home and it was empty. also, it was the bus where the seats at the back face each other and i was able to stretch my legs out and was all comfy! oooh, and this is the 2nd friday in a row that i got out early for astro and could actually make the 4pm bus! actually, she had to waste time at the beginning (the powerpoint wasn't working) and so we only spent 35min in that class being bored!

oooh, craig david is so HOTTTTT! man, that guy rocks!

speaking of rocking (hehe, that's so retarded), i finally saw an episode of "phil of the future" (family channel) and ricky ullman totally rocks. i've liked him for a long time (it doesn't hurt that he's a tad older than me and that he has dark brown hair). uggh, i'm stalking random bus guys again! bah humbug. oh well, it'll never end.

u know what i've noticed? that u feel happier if u listen to fluffy pop that u liked from 5-10 years ago! it's weird, but i was listening to the first aqua cd, and i feel happier. it's all "bubble-gummy" and fun.

well, that's all for now.

well, this week is done, meaning that school has officially started! bah, i can't believe i'm a 2nd year student, it feels so weird. i guess 'cause i know more about the locations of my classes than any first year, and i know about clubs and activities. oh well.

well, i must say that last monday (labour day) i was working at zellers during the morning/afternoon and it was also seniors day. i must say, it was EXTREMELY busy! i've never seen it that busy! it was SO busy, that we needed 5 cashiers at the tills, even 6 at some points in time, and still, every cashier had a huge lineup! it was crazy! luckily the mall closed at 5pm so the evening was dead for those cashiers that were working. the next day, i was called in to fill in someone's shift and guess what happened at closing, a customer happened! it was after 9pm, and i guess 'cause the doors weren't fully closed, some moronic woman with her son comes into the store! seriously people, learn to read the closing times! and of course, i was stuck being the cashier for her. it was so unfair! she took like 15min to find a pair of shoes, and when she came to my till, she decided to waste more time by paying her bill. seriously, get fucking life! man, that was a waste of my life! oh well. on thursday i had my final shift at zellers, and that was good. hehe, my cash manager was sad to see me go. actually, a lot of people were, and they gave me hugs and told me to visit. wow, there truly are some nice people out there. so, i visited a bunch of zellers people yesterday and it was cool.

as for school, well, it sucks. i dunno, i guess, i'm already thinking negatively but still, i hate the workload of school! i really like film studies (so far), but i'm NOT looking forward to the term papers, the prof keeps yelling that it'll be hard and u shouldn't stay in this course if ur not good at papers. bah! i guess i'll try it out and see what happens, luckily it's a 2 semester course, so if i really hate it, i'll have a free spot next semester (but my dad will lose his money). i like my profs, i especially like psych, he's very funny. it's awesome how i know like 12 people in that class! it's crazy, 'cause there are 5 choir people (and one person's friend), one girl from claires, al, robyn (i don't really talk to her, but i still know her), one guy from my english class, a girl from psych 105 and a girl from psych 104 and bio 108. it's crazy! in my math class, i know a couple of people, in my astro class i know a couple of people, and in my film studies class i know one person and know of another. in organic chem, there are the ib students a year younger than us and dan moroz is there. yes, i'm sad for taking a 100 level organic chem, but that's just what i decided to do.

on friday, i went to the beer gardens (man, it was wet), but didn't drink. however, i got a sticker from the sonic 102.9 tent. man, i wish that i asked how u get into the radio dj business. oh well, i love that station! yesterday, they played like 50 songs i love, i a row! k, not that many in a row, but they still played that many songs i love (old ones and new ones). speaking of yesterday, i went to buy beer for the first time. it was an interesting experience, however the beer wasn't for me (it was for my bro), but at least i know how to buy one. actually, the girl at the register went to woodbridge farms and it's funny that on thursday, she came through my till at zellers! weird, eh?

yay, franz ferdinand is back! hehe, i love that band! their new song "do you want to?" is kickin awesome! i'm looking forward to october when their cd is supposed to come out!

and, on a sad note, i'd like to say that this is the 4th anniversary of the 9/11 disaster! stupid terrorists, they make all muslims look bad! bah!

i'd like to say that today marks the 1 year anniversary of the tragic/pathethic car crash with luke, stef and amanda. i know u guys are up there, and we truly miss you. please continue to watch over us.

man, i can't believe that it's been a year, man that flew by. i guess, school keeps u busy with all that studying.

in other news, there's one crazy ass thunderstorm occurring right now, as i type. it's very loud (the thunder) and there's lots of rain. i'm glad i'm not working right now. i finished my shift at 5:30pm but chantelle (co-worker) and i decided to do some random (expensive) shopping, cause we were done at the same time. i bought a big fuzzy pillow. one of those throw pillows, actually. yah, zellers wasn't very busy today. there were 7 of us cashiers at the front, so i got to do a lot of tidying and stuff. it was a nice pass of time. also, i was the "baggirl" for some cashiers. well, i'm gonna miss those cashiers, but i'll visit them every now and then.
