WOW GRAD IS OVER!!!!!
here are the highlights of my night!
3:30pm = we (poorna, lori, meghan, sabira, shannon and myself) met each other at sal's backdoor/large gym entrance in order to go into our limo. before we got in the limo, our rents or one parent (my dad in my case) took pics of all of us! yay, some limo pic memories! then we made our way to the leg! once we got into the limo, we all had to take pics of us actually in the limo, i like my pics, they came out quite nice!
4:00pm = actually this may not be the exact time, but whatevs. at this point in time, we reached the legislative grounds and took some pics. meghan's parents decided to come and take the pics for us. sadly enough, some of those pics didn't work. oh well, i'll need some copies from u-lori! while we were at the leg, we saw lots of sal people! i saw laura popko-bryant, jeff baker, ashley walker and i think ashley's b/f chris. ooh, and tons of other sal people! hehe! oh yah, i also saw this guy from by bio night school class (his meaning adrossan's grad was june 26th as well) and he was smoking a cigar! hehe! actually i didn't see his g/f, but she must have been there! yes, well, we took lots of fabby (u guys r rubbing off on me!) pics, even one infront of a water fountain!
4:50pm = we met the limo guy and he took us to shaw conference center or as i always call it-convention center. u might be wondering y, well, it used to be called the convention center and well seeing as i go there like 2 times a year (for the past 12 yrs), i feel like i'm privileged enough to keep calling it the convention center.
5:00pm = actually i think it was after this time, but whatevs! we got to shaw and well, being the "not wanting to kill my feet more" type of person, i decided to take the escalator down rather than walk the stairs (like the other 5 did). yah, i'm glad i did that! well, i went with lo to find her family, i met her family and took a pic with lo! then i found laura popko and took some pics with her! well, i finally went inside, cause i was out in the sun when i took these pics, and then i went into the hall and found my family. then, we went out and took pics! that was interesting... yah, then we got back and went into the hall.
5:30m = once again, it's prolly not the right time! yah, well it turned out that i was sitting with janelle khan and her family. that wasn't bad, she was starting some convos with me, so that was cool! yah, and i was talking to my bro, and well he told me that they were repeating the dinner music over and over! dumb dinner music! yah, well we ate our dinner, i was served first every time, janelle second! yah, the salad wasn't bad, the chicken with mashed potatoes was pretty decent; however, my mashed potatoes for squished and i had half the amount anyone else had! oh well, they were still flavourful! ooh, the dessert was good! very good! yah, the moose/ice cream in a waffle bowl was good, the berry sauce was sweet but it wasn't bad when mixed with everything else! in the mean time, while the dinner music was playing for the 2nd/3rd time, the cd began to skip! hehe! serves them right for pissing me off! anyways, i think they tried another cd, and that was sort of working for them.
Before 6:30pm = after dinner, we had to go get our gowns and caps! fun! not, luckily for me, janelle told me that we should go, otherwise i would have to wait a long line in order to get my stuff. in otherwords, i beat the rush! then i came back to my table and well, my family went out to get more pics, this time me with my gown and hat! oh yah, before that. i was wearing my red stoll the right way, but then the jostens guy said to change it! then, while mrs. thain was taking my pic w/ the entire family, she told me to switch it back to the way i had it before! i told her the josten's guy said the other way, and then she said "yah, he doesn't know what he's doing!" hehe! yah, i also took a pic with poorna, it actually came out nice! after the pics, we, meaning all the grads, took our seats inside near the stage. i was sitting in the last row, on the side closest to my family!
6:55pm or maybe 7:00pm = korinda and sherrise (our co-presidents for grad) were the mc's! well, yah, the ceremony wasn't too bad i guess. there were lots of speeches that i paid some attention to! it was hilarious, cause i was sitting inbetween mark (from english) and nakita, and those 2 kept talking! hehe! we were all talking, it's kinda weird, 'cause i wouldn't think that i would be talking to nakita, i think it's been a few years since she last talked to me! i dunno! anyway, she kept asking me if i was going to the dance, and that she'll hunt me down or drag me to the dance floor, which is ironic, considering the fact that i didn't see her at all on the dance floor! yah, and the chick next to her, i think her name is kim but i don't remember, was talking to me. yah, they were all so bored, it was funny! oh yah, the moment i was dreading-walking across the stage! i thought i would have tripped or something, luckily i didn't! oh and before i went on stage, mrs. brandt had to fix my red stoll! i wonder how i looked on the screens, prolly bad, oh well! those people with dvd's will have a moment to laugh at their screens i guess... i must comment on the last performance-nathaniel's band. see, when nathaniel (am i spelling his name right? it seems wrong for some reason!) was on the screen, mark says to me "woah, it's that dude/guy (i don't remember the exact word, maybe i should have put it in [] form) from our english class!" that was funny, oh and then he's like "i never knew he was in a band, i wish i got to know him better!" that was weird!
After 10:30pm = i went to return my gown and stoll, and even though i was before everyone, mr. kadatz decided to be a dumbass and allow all those people to return their stuff before me! uggh! and it was no help that "creamsoda" was right behind me, i think i hit him like 5 times when i turned around! well, finally my turn came, or so i thought! see, the lady helping mr. kadatz asked me my name, and i told her, then she told mr. kadatz but he didn't listen, instead he took the next person-creamsoda! but the lady told him my name and he listened, so i think creamsoda got mad, but who cares! i was ahead of him anyway! yah, after that i found my family and well, i got my stuff, they went home and i met up with da, ste and lo. we all got our pics taken with each other, and then we had a pic taken with bev!
Maybe 11:00pm = the dance started, at first, there was a lot of people! then it thinned out! hehe, we had a blast! i danced like a freak, but hey, we were all doing something and we had a great time! it's not like we'll actually see most of these people again!
yah, so while we were dancing, da decided to get "camera happy" with my camera! hehe! she took some interesting videos, too bad she didn't take one of "hideous boils" while he was dancing! that was scary! no sense of rythym, and he was quite hyper! good thing he didn't ask lo to slowdance! uggh, and his partner was dancing with us! i can't believe they asked u guys if they could join our "party"!!! ew! ew! ew! ewwwwwwww!
Midnight = with the dance over (i can't believe i was actually dancing!), it was time to go to the house that da was "house-sitting". before that, i needed one last group pic! that was cool! uggh, i hate walking outside in downtown edmonton when it's dark out! creepy drunks! ewwwww! some were sleeping on the grass, and i was afraid they would come out and grab me or something! oh, and while lou and i were walking to his truck, this group of drunks were talking to us. one guy was like, "congratulations on graduating" or something like that. then he said, "what's the meaning of pi?" and lou's like "i dunno", then the guy said "how could u not know, it's 3.14!"! that was creepy! anyway, that was the grad portion!
12:30am-1:00am = we reached the house and we watched some "saturday night live" guest-starring janet jackson, and ate some pizza, chicken wings (in my case), and cookies, and drank lemonade! then, we started to watch "madeline" (ste's) and we took some random crazy pics! hehe!
3:00am = i got home, well slightly before 3am, but still! i watched some screwy movie, well the end of it.
4:00am = i was watching "CSI" well, i watched the beginning, and well, was like "the guy looks hot (meaning the guest star)", so i decided to watch more. this guest star (pretending to be a movie star), was signing autograph pics of himself and then it hit me-that was chad micheal murray! this was his new look! yet, when i saw this new look before, i didn't like it, but i did while i was watching it! hehe! yah, so i watched some of that, but didn't get up to my room till 5am. it was actually sunny after 4am, which was screwing my brain around!
5:00am = i couldn't sleep! ugggh, i don't know when i fell asleep, but i woke up at like 1:30pm or something the next day!
well, that was my grad! oohh, it was a good one! thanks u guys for making it a good one!
oh yah, grad was SATURDAY, JUNE 26TH, 2004-just to remind me of the day and all!
