well, tonight was fun. i got 2 credit apps tonight! yay, my cash manager was very pleased! however, i couldn't tell her i have to quit, she was finally happy with me after 2 weeks! waaahh! uggh, tomorrow's gonna be fun (sarcasm). wow, i like to wast a lot of money shopping. man, i've wasted so much money these past 4 months! waahhh, i don't wanna go to school. i HATE it! it's so annoying and i hate how the bus ride is 30 min long! it's such a pain.

well, lemme say, i have 9 credit apps total! i got one today, and one yesterday. i also got one on monday. sweetass!

hmm...i found out that 3 people who work at zellers, graduated from sal the year i was in grade 10. i actually thought that they were facey people! crazy, eh?

i saw "40-yr old virgin" on thursday, and it was funny. hehe, it was hilarious!

i'm sad that school's starting soon. that means no more money and so much more work (i loathe studying). also, that means no more "excessive tv watching" and random laziness. WAAAHHH!

i watched a documentary today about a man named jonny kennedy who had a skin disease. it was called "the boy whose skin fell off". he was 36 yrs old. he died a couple of years ago in august i believe. he was funny and had an irish accent. it was sad to see that all of his skin was peeling off. it makes u think, if someone can endure that, then couldn't you endure a lot urself? i dunno, u'd think i'd learn, but i doubt it. buggers, i want to be brave and live life to the fullest, but i don't see it happening soon.

well, today was fun. i was working at zellers and pretty much everyone working today was teenagers! even our supervisor (kim astle). actually, there were like 2 adults working. hehe! it was fun! the store was quite dead and they had 3 of us cashiers at the mall checkouts! wow, we were so bored, oh well we were talking to each other. hehe, we were all from sal! well, 2 of us had graduated but still! i put an order for a chapters gift card using my points. it sucks, cause i should be considered gold status but i'm not (i guess i have to talk to my manager) and so, i lost 60 000 useful points to this thing! oh well! it's not like i actually worked hard at earning those points to start with! hmm...i love it when no adults are around. u don't get lectures on every little thing! well, i bought myself a pair of flip flops for $2.25, so that made me happy. i sure love clearance stuff! ugggh, i'll miss my 10% discount. maybe i should find some dvds before i quit.

also, they have been playing lots of good music at zellers. on saturday, 4 u2 songs played in a span of 2 hrs! and today, my fav b2m song "motown philly", my fav song in the entire world "save tonight" by eagle-eye cherry, "cruel summer" by ace of base and "all been done" by bnl played today! wow, it was awesome!

i've never seen gas be a dollar here, but it was (is it still? it must be, cause none of the signs say anything). wow, $102.9 per litre! and it's like $4 per gallon in the states (i think that it is per gallon). isn't that crazy?! that's insane! oh well, what can we do? gas and cost of everything goes up, but pay doesn't. apparently minimum wage will increase to $7 in september.

well, i got another credit app today! yay! that put a smile on my cashier manager's face! actually, there was a line up brewing at my till and this one guy was kinda pissed that he told the other cashier that he went to "people don't need more credit cards!". yeesh you asshole! first of all, this was the lady's first one, and second, i don't give a fuck about ur opinion 'cause i get bonus points out of this, so SCREW YOU! yay! i have 200 000 points on my own and i got 565 000 points from my dad today (he transferred them over), so now i can order crap! actually, i'm looking into a gift card from chapters. so, i'm going to be quitting my jobs before school starts. i could work weekends at zellers, but y bother doing the 1:30-9pm shift every saturday? it's not just that i hate being there till close, but i'm gonna be busy on some saturdays, so it'll be pointless.

yay, i got my first credit card yesterday! it's a mastercard. oooh, i hope it'll work and i can use it to buy crap off the net! sorry, i've been waiting for the moment where i could by my own crap off the net, and not being told no because i'd be using someone else's card. SWEETASS!!!!

i was reading something on the msn/hotmail website (entertainment news story) and it was saying that american kids say "jumping off the couch" in reference to someone who's out-of-control. this all stemmed from tom cruise's appearance on oprah where he jumped on the couch.

well, lemme tell ya, a LOT can happen in a week. i have first hand experience in this matter!!

so, from last saturday until thursday evening, things were looking awesome! i was finally happy again and wasn't depressed as usual. then, it happened! the downside, the horrible events of hell occurred! i went from 3 credit apps at zellers, to crying in the bathroom stall in the backroom of zellers. on thursday, i was so excited to buy the new "muppets wizard of oz" dvd from zellers and when i got to the electronics section, there were no copies. i asked the guy working there where the copies were and he told me that somebody stole all of them on tuesday evening when the dvd's came in! also, these assholes stole all of the copies of the "muppets show" dvds! i was so pissed off! also these fucktards stole copies of "winn dixie" but i couldn't care less about that one. yeesh, who steals muppet dvds? why not adult films? fucking fucktards! on friday, i went to claire's and my manager was kinda angry that i had so much crap on hold and haven't bought it yet. well, i don't belive that i have the most, it's just one item takes up so much space! then, i go to work at zellers, and it turns out that a customer i had on wednesday evening was a credit card theif and well, i cost the store $1000! seriously, why did it happen to me? my manager was so happy and proud of me until that event occurred! i was doing well until that asshole had to come through my till. i knew i didn't want him, but i had no choice. uggh, he was a jerk at the till too, so that didn't help much. anyway, i fucked up big time but luckily i'm not fired (hopefully no bad things occur), but it was still moronic of me and moronic of it to happen. if only the other cashier was there, then she would know how to handle the situation and i wouldn't have screwed over the company. oh well, it wasn't fun. then, yesterday, i went to the fridge to get my lunch during my lunch break, and i couldn't find it anywhere? i'm sure no one ate it, but still! it wasn't at home, it wasn't in the car in which i came in, and it wasn't in my locker! maybe i dropped it somewhere, but i'm sure that i would have heard it or something, but i guess not! that really pissed me off! seriously, i had to waste $6 on a meal when in fact i had a yummy lunch prepared for me!

well, today at work was a bit better. i got to work at the mall checkouts and it wasn't too busy. after the mall doors were closed, i got to do returns and cash out other tills. i also bought a funky pair of shoes today. and prior to work, there were 3 suv's in front of us (on the way to work) and they were all from sonic 102.9! crazy, eh? oh yah, i watched "harold and kumar" on saturday, it was quite hilarious. hehe, stereotypes! but it was funny!

yay! i got another credit app! freaky, eh? that's 3 this week! too bad i only got 10 000 bonus points, oh well, i'm sitting at 125, 000 points in total! sweet! too bad i'll have to quit zellers soon, i do like credit apps and hanging out with cool people. so, school's about to start, i'm not at all excited. i wish it could be summer for ever! or at least, not school for a long time. oh well, i think that it'll be good for me to do something productive every day, so i guess it's good to have school start. but still, i'd rather get paid money than study! but who wouldn't, right?

well, i worked monday evening at zellers, and i was at the front checkouts with 2 others. there was a mad rush of people as soon as the 3 of us got there! it was crazy, as if the store was to close at 5pm. and guess what? i got another credit app! sweet, 20 000 bonus points for me! hopefully they get added soon (and the other 30 000 i got on saturday) and then i can have over 100 000 rewards points! yay, that's 4 credit apps for moi! hehe, sorry, i'm thrilled for me. anyway, prior to closing, doug (mentioned in previous post) was toilet papering kaarina's car! kaarina was one of the girls cashing at the front with me. it was funny cause he completely covered the car! apparently, she and kelsey (also works at zellers) wrote silly things like "i love you doug" or something like that, all over the windshield of his truck, in lipgloss. i'm not sure when this happened, but now he got his revenge! hehe, they took pics and everything. all the staff members was watching him do it. kaarina was severely pissed off! hehe, she's nice, but it's still kinda funny to witness. man, i'll miss working there, the people are SO friendly, and by people i mean the staff.

also, 4 people came through my till of which i knew. there was andrea (elk island honour and youth choirs), josh henkelmen, thea lomond and carla james. it was crazy!

early in the day, for how long i'm not sure, k-rock was stuck on the line "no more mr. nice guy". it kept repeating the line over and over and over and over again! it was insane madness i tell ya!

i love listening to sonic 102.9! they play so many awesome songs! on saturday, i heard "i will follow" by u2. and that's one of my fav songs of theirs. i've never heard that song on the radio before!

hey, i'm going to continue from yesterday's post.

well, i saw talia at zellers yesterday. she was taking her grandma shopping. it was awesome to talk to her again, i think it was a couple of months ago when i last saw her. hmm...i worked with chantelle yesterday. we always have a blast, and that's good cause it's usually dead at the mall checkouts. she's like 15 yrs old, but is pretty funny. she has a crush on some guy who works at west 49, but that guy always comes through my till for some reason! and it's not good, cause i tend to laugh or wanna smile cause i know she likes him and i find it funny that he comes through my till. hehe. oh well, it's great to bug her about that. what else? well, i found out that a nice guy named clayton (he's 22 yrs old) is weird. and very weird, but he's still nice. see, his g/f is 5 yrs younger than him! she's younger than me! isn't that crazy? oh well. um...on saturday evening, while i was going to put garbage away (like 10 bags worth) in the backroom, i walked buy doug, an operations guy. now we've talked before, but he kept giving me weird looks, and i returned the favour. then, when i was returning from garbage duty, he gave me weird looks and i did the same. then he started laughing and then we were arguing (not really) over who started the weird looks. then yesterday, i went shopping during my lunch break and i didn't see him, but he said hi. then i said hi back and then he said, "are you scared of me?" and i said no. and we were talking about that. also, he was atempting to put a large body spray bottle, and a lip gloss in a huge package, into a small pencil holder (these were items that i was going to buy). it was quite interesting watching him do that! oooh, and shirley (she's been a cashier for a long time) was at the mall checkouts with me and chantelle (yesterday) and she said the most unexpected burn. chantelle still had a few minutes before her lunch break and then shirley was getting ready to take over chantelle's till. chantelle said, "ur just waiting for me to go, aren't you?" and shirley said "yah, how else will be able to talk about you if you're here?". well, it was something like that, and it was quite hilarious! also, on saturday, the cashier i was working with, her name is jyoti, was making me laugh. now, it wasn't what she said, it was how she said it. see, she's not a very loud person, and she had this guy customer who kept making her repeat what she said. so the second time she said something, she'd yell it! it was very funny, i think that u'd have to be there in order to understand. i like it when there are people at the mall checkouts working with you, otherwise it's boring. it might be boring for me tonight if i'm at the mall checkouts! oh well!

so, i got another credit app yesterday and earned 30 000 bonus points! woohoo! however, as usual, random customers like to ruin ur day. oh well. i worked friday, yesterday and today at zellers. i was at the mall checkouts. actually, i've been at the mall checkouts for 7 straight shifts in a row! it's quite crazy!

u know what i hate? when people get angry at you for taking random courses at university. see, i'm not sure what i want to be, and i figure if i take some random, different courses i like, i might find one i want to major in. however, i'm thinking of broadcasting/journalism, but i'm not sure. uggh, y can't life not suck? and i'm not lying, my life truly does suck! i can't get some sort of peace. if i have something good happen, then something stupid has to ruin my day! well, fuck everyone and their annoying attitudes! it's not fair! so what, i don't want to take science courses that matter, i'm not going to go into medicine. i don't wanna take arts courses either, i just wanna take random courses and try what's out there. leave me alone and fix ur own problems! i can't wait till i'm gone or until i'm happier, then i'll have the last laugh! not all the fucktards out there! and there are many of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i saw "anchorman" yesterday, finally. it's quite hilarious. i also saw "man on fire" (denzel washington) and that's good. it's full of guns and action.

well, i finally saw "charlie and the chocolate factory" last night with my bro. actually, we were going to see "wedding crashers" and it was sold out when we got to the front of the line. oh well, i didn't really wanna see that movie anyway. actually, i originally did (about a month ago) but on tv they keep replaying the same parts of the movie, over and over again so it made me not wanna go. whatevs. wow, it was interesting how that movie was sold out, but "charlie and the chocolate factory" which started 10min earlier wasn't sold out. but it was full, and when we got into the theatre, the movie started so we were stuck at the very front. it's kinda painful on the neck but it makes u feel like ur a part of the movie! i'm so glad it wasn't a scary movie, that would hurt big time on my ears! well, i enjoyed "charlie and the chocolate factory" and i do recommend it but, u guys have prolly seen it already. i must say i love the music to the oompaloompas' songs. watching the movie has tempted me to buy the books (the original), both "charlie and the chocolate factory" and "charlie and the great glass elevator". i loved reading those books when i was young. i remember doing a book report on "charlie and the great glass elevator" in grade 4. speaking of the "great glass elevator", it was funny when johnny depp kept walking into it! hehe! it was great how the adults and the little kids in the theatre were laughing, actually some little kids were clapping when it was over!

a couple of weeks ago, i saw "team america". it was quite funny! it was the uncensored version, so the sex scene was interesting. but i must say that the songs in that movie were quite hilarious.

have u ever listened to a song u love, over and over again? well, i'm doing that right now with the foo fighters' song everlong. i know it's old, but i think it's my fav song of theirs. uggh, they're coming to town on sunday and i'm not going. oh well, that's okay. i'm still angry over missing the barenaked ladies a month ago. oh well, i do hope they come back. because it's something about me and the barenaked ladies that don't work. i missed them at the junos autograph signing last year and i missed their concert here a month ago! odd i say!

i forgot to mention something in yesterday's post. on monday while i was working, a guy came through my till at zellers. he knew me and said his name was josh and he went to wes hosford with me. i felt bad 'cause i didn't recognize him. i remembered one josh but he didn't really look like him, perhaps that was the same guy. anyway, usually i'm the one to recognize people and they forget me, so i felt bad in this case. well, that was a strange event, i must say.

hello all! well, how was ur long weekend? i spent most of mine working, but i'm not complaining cause i get paid and i get paid more (i get paid time and a half for monday) so that makes me happy! well, i worked at zellers all long weekend (friday, sat, sun, and monday) and it wasn't too bad. i was at the mall checkouts each day and there was always at least one person with me, so it was fun and the time flew by. man, it can be extremely boring at the mall checkouts when ur by urself. hmm...i can't remember anything interesting occurring on friday, but on saturday while i was on the 3rd till (i was on the 2nd one until i went for my break and someone took mine), the till froze 2 times! bah! oh well, after my 2nd break, i got sent to clean/fold the beach towels until one of the other 2 cashiers was to go home. man, i had a couple of people ask me questions (i don't know much, cause i'm a cashier, they have others who are on the floor for that stuff), but luckily it was for the location of the changerooms and the bathroom. it's very funny when people ask u where customer service is! there's such a huge sign for it! hehe! after the mall closed and i cashed out, i was told to tidy up the kids underwear and socks area. that place was messy! underwear bags were opened and left on the ground! yeesh u stupid people! anyway, on sunday there was 2 of us. actually, i wasn't supposed to be at the mall checkouts, but they moved me and i was happy for that. i got to work with chantelle, who's very funny. we bug each other and what not in order to make the time fly by. anyway, zellers opens an hour before the mall, and so the mall doors from zellers remains closed until like half an hour before the mall opens. well, guess what some crazy, random seniors decided to do that day! they opened the glass doors (they were coming from the mall) themselves! yeesh! get a life why don't you? i told the cashier supervisor, stephanie, and she said they do that a lot. so then she gave up and opened the doors. also, i had 5 people ask me (before the mall opened at 12pm), if the mall was closed! yeesh! have you never been to the mall on a sunday before? uggh! it opens at 12pm! oh well, the day was fine, and guess what! i got a surprise visit from bev and devin! hehe, bev was in town and she remembered that i worked at zellers and well, she came in and we talked! it was so nice, i haven't seen her in a month! well, that was awesome. anyway, my shift ended at 5:30pm on sunday, but stephanie said i could go home early! yay! yay! well, yesterday i started at 12pm and there were 3 cashiers at the mall checkouts! hehe! the store was pretty dead for 3 people, and even though it was seniors day, they really didn't need 4 or 5 cashiers at the front, either. so, for the first part of my shift, i went and did returns (but items back in their place), and i noticed that most of the stock people were putting away new stock but still, they were all joking around with each other and same with the "floor" people. those guys were always talking (i think this should give u an idea of how dead zellers was). however, people would keep asking me questions about where stuff is, luckily i found the aisles for them! phew! at one point in time, there were 5 of us behind the customer service desk talking! man, was it dead or what! anyway, i hung out with kate (she went to cloverbar/sal and is a year older than us) and lindsay (she also went to sal and is a year older than us) and well, wasted time talking to them, while doing returns. i also helped kate close those open underwear/socks bags that i previously mentioned were opened and left on the ground. anyway, while the first cashier went for her break, i took over her till and i think i was on cash for the rest of the day (except for my breaks) so that was about 3 hrs, not very much. and, tara (the cash supervisor) said i could go home early after i cashed out and took out the trash (there was only one bag of trash! ha!), so that's what happened. i went home early!

well, that was my long weekend. u know what sucks? that the t-shirts i bought 3 weeks ago, are much cheaper now! oh well, some of those shirts aren't there anymore, so maybe it's a good thing i bought them when i did!
