yay! a canadian won the miss universe pageant last night.

well, work was interesting this week. i had to work extra shifts for zellers, twice this week. oh well, i guess this is an ad that if u know of anyone who needs a job, zellers is hiring (cashiers for sure) and claires is as well.

on a stupider note. i hate how people say they're lonely and don't listen to me when i offer help. come on, i know for sure what it's like to be lonely! i've been lonely for the past 6 yrs, and i've truly fucked up my life for it! stop it all of u! if u think ur lonely, then talk to me. i know how u feel, u can't deny that! seriously, it's so annoying how people can say things and when others really know how they feel and offer to help, they completely ignore them. whatevs, i tried and if u don't want my help then keep being lonely. sorry, i know i won't be the most perfect person for the job, but i've been through a lot and it's still occuring. if i had it my way, i wouldn't be here anymore, but i don't so instead i'm here to help.

hey there! well, this week was interesting. i just finished a 5 hr shift at zellers today, it actually went well (not too many customers, and really no problems). i've met some nice people there, even a new trainee (she's from sal). this was my 3rd shift at zellers. i'm still working at claire's and really only the discount and the people who work there are good, otherwise working there is no fun! u either have a huge line up of customers (some of which are impatient) or u have absolutely nothing to do (i had to work by myself for 5hrs on 2 days and for 3hrs on 1 day this week)! i hate that! i also hate closing, there's so much to do, and for some reason it takes me an hour to do it! it's supposed to take 30min at the most! bah to that!

i found a "muppets take manhattan" dvd for $6.88 at wal-mart yesterday and i bought it and watched it. it's funny 'cause that was the only muppet movie that i've never seen/don't own! every time i've tried to tape that movie, either someone tapes over it or it gets misplaced or something.

i now have an HBC rewards card! yay! well, it's not that exciting.

i have to work at claire's tomorrow. u know what sucks? when both of ur jobs have to book u at the same time! uggh! i told them that i have 2 jobs, they seem to forget that. i hate working!

u know what is fun? the fact that i got to hang out with jess (even if for only a little while) and that i saw poorna this past week as well. i saw talia on the bus a couple of days ago and she said she's living in an apartment in sherwood park and that she's working at the sherwood park mall shoppers drug mart. her mom came through my till today, she's so friendly!

i started work at zellers today, actually i just had a tour of the store and got my t-shirt and name card. the people seem nice, and it doesn't hurt to know a couple of them :) it's quite funny to see someone u haven't seen in a few years, i didn't say hi but i will next time (to that person). i used my 10% discount at zellers to buy a cd (u2) [lori: u don't have to burn me a copy, thanks for the offer anyway :) ].

i also used my claire's discount on saturday and bought 3 pairs of funky earrings. btw, i'm working tomorrow at claire's and on wednesday. ahh, i think i'm alone on wednesday, i dunno!

today marks the end of a nine-year run of "everybody loves raymond". wow, so many long running shows are ending *tear*. oh well, i guess we'll just have to wait for some other shows to take their place.

hi y'all! well, i'm officially a third key at claires in the mall and i think i'm to be a cashier at zellers (i still have some paperwork to fill out). well, this is going to be fun (sarcasm). i had my first training session at claires on wednesday evening and it was interesting. there were so many buttons to remember for the cash register! ahhh! i think i'll be okay soon, i kinda remember what to do now. i'm working again on saturday (3-6pm) so if any of u wanna come by and buy something or wanna come for a visit, then those are the hours i am working. how's life for the rest of u?

i came back from my choir tour to BC on sunday may 8th and i must say that a nine day tour is quite long. we had a hotel night on wednesday (may 4th) and a bunch of people went out drinking (not me even though i was legal, hehe) and the next day one of the guys who went out drinking, puked on the riser. we had a school concert in a church then, so that was awkward. yes, well i have more on tour but i don't feel like writing it down now. btw, we need guys for choir next year! [to becca: jeff wrote in my program that i should bring 10 guys next year, i thought that was funny! ]

i didn't go to the sloan concert, so i hope it was good. as well, green day will be here in about 6 days but i'm not going and i'm assuming that will be awesome.

we all need to get together soon. too bad we're all working, and i have no clue when my shifts are! oh well, soon we should get together, i haven't seen jess in forever. [to jess: i've actually visited Pier One a few times but neither u nor poorna were working. what's ur work sched? maybe we could get together during a break or something?]

hey there. i just wanted to ask a question, i know some of u have u2 cds and i was wondering if i could borrow U2'S GREATEST HITS (1990-2000) and ALL THAT YOU CAN'T LEAVE BEHIND. the library's copies are not very good at all. thanks!

well, i'd like to say happy birthday (may 8th) to stef! yay, ur 19, too bad u can't celebrate here on earth. but i know ur partying it up there in heaven with amanda and luke. i really miss u!
