when listening to big time by soundtrack of our lives, i feel like bobbing and dancing. i love this song! anyway, it's been a while since i posted. hmm... i was in vancouver for the past 4 days. i've NEVER seen so many ismailis at once before! see, our religious leader was making 2 special visits to canada (van and tdot) and so there were so many of us in those 2 cities. it was funny, however, that i kept seeing the same people i knew over and over again. actually it wasn't that funny. what was funny was that while crossing the street, i saw my younger cuz run by and i kinda yelled at him. that got the attention of my mom, who stopped him. it was crazy! i was just thinking about him and there he was! it was cool to see ~20 000 people play raasra/dandia (dances) at once. i filmed it, so hopefully it turns out good.
i'm still working (bah) and wednesday night i had to close claires by myself. after my bro picked me up, he had to take me to the bank to make the deposit. i kept trying the key (to put it into the lock) and it wouldn't work. we went to the other side, that was even worse. then i went home and called my manager, she suggested to meet her at the bank and it turned out the other girl working there accidentally gave me the door key, not the deposit key. if i wasn't so busy with customers, i could've realized that it was the wrong key 'cause i had her deposit key 2 days before! about a week ago i got my 1st credit app (a customer who applies for an HBC credit card) and so i earned 10 000 bonus points. the cashier supervisors were playing a game (hot potato) with a $5 bill and whoever was the last one to have it before the time was up, kept it. i was lucky, no one received a credit app after me, so i got to keep it. too bad that after i went to my break (i said that nothing bad could happen in my last 2 hrs, during my break), that bad things arose! customers were being jerks (as usual). one lady yelled at me 'cause my OPEN light was off and she said "you should turn on ur light, no one knows ur open!", and then i told her "my light burnt out" except i wanted to yell, GO TO HELL BITCH!!!!!! but i couldn't. anyway, she must have been a blind woman, cause i actually had customers in my line and if u weren't sure if i was open, all u had to do was ask. man, i hate the rush. it starts at 3pm and it sucks cause if ur on a slow till (like i was) people still get angry at u! like, u do this job if u think ur SO much better! btw, i had 2 customers tell me how to operate the machine. the first one: i accidentally put in the wrong amount of cash, and then had to fix it all, while the was telling me that "u should scan the rewards card, it says to". but no silly, fucked up woman! u have to take the money first! the second lady: the machine screwed up and didn't say to take the rewards card. the lady got mad and kept telling me "it says scan the item (she thought card)" and then i had to tell her "ur transaction is complete, this is for the new merchandise"! gosh, y can't people have brains?
2 tuesdays ago, i saw WWE smackdown live at rexall place (wrestling) and that was fun. i had to drag my bro along, but whatevs. i enjoyed it, the matches were interesting and i saw one of my fav wrestlers. it's cool how at zellers i found someone who shares the same passion for wrestling as me. i dunno if any of u remember kate from clover bar and sal. yah, we've had long convos on this topic. i even talked to a guy at zellers about it. it's fun. speaking of fun, i bought the WM 21 dvd, it was kinda expensive. i dunno, $26 for 3 dvds, is that expensive? i still have to watch it, i'm excited for it! i also bought the fozzy cd (that is an awesome cd) and the italian job. the lead singer of fozzy is my fav wrestler chris jericho. that guy knows just what to say in order to make me laugh. i'm not kidding! i'm usually sad, and then if he makes some speech (usually making fun of people) then i'm happy afterwards. man, i wish i could meet him. oh well! it's cool how he has a dual citenship and that winnipeg called him sexiest man of winnipeg or something like that 2 years ago. canada loves him! well, the canadian wrestling fans, that is. anyway, i'll stop annoying u people with my talk about things u don't care about.
i guess u guys don't have to leave comments after this post, it's very long and i don't expect anyone to get through it. have a good week!
