k, those pics u see of becca and lori are from tuesday 22 of february. there, now i think that helps. yes, blogger is stupid and decides to post messages of mine like a week after i wrote them! yah, it wasn't working last week and i kept trying to post but it wouldn't let me and all of a sudden it did!

so, now we are in the midst of a long weekend-horray! yes, i've been so busy the last few weeks with a midterm, a huge lab report, prelabs, a minor lab report, a MAJOR research essay for english and some other things.

i attended my first uamc spring concert (cause i'm in the choir, duh!) and it was fun. see, we sang a song called "loch lomand" and i know it's stef's fav. i remember when i was in youth choir and we sang with the sask. and edmonton choirs a couple of years back and the saskatchewan choir sang loch lomand. stef really liked that song (she had a fetish for scottish things and such as most of u would remember) and i felt happy to be singing that song. it seems like she sent a message to bob (our conductor) or whomever picks the music, to let us sing that one! sorry, i know it's dumb to think of it that way, but still. i was really happy to sing that song. i must buy our choir concert cd next year. oooh, if u know of guys in edmonton (university, college) who like to sing, please encourage them to join! and girls too!

i still am wondering which guy shopper is referring to, but i guess i'll have to wait.

u know what's fun? having long talks with a friend, mind u i don't get much work done, but still. it makes u so much happier in the end because u can say what u want and don't have to worry about hurting their feelings or something. sorry, but i really like to have talks like that.

anyway, school is almost over and then there are exams. oh well, i must do good in order to be happy later on, howver i don't know what kind of career i want.

well, have a great easter and long weekend!

this goes out to shopper (i can't post comments on that blog):

um... which guy from choir (uamc choir, right)? maybe i know him. anyway, 25 wouldn't be breaking the half plus 7 rule, unless ur being sarcastic. half plus 7 should lead to a 34 yr old, but let's hope u don't go there. hehe! hopefully u see this and respond.

well, yesterday was loads of fun! hehe, well last night was awesome. anyway, in choir i finally got to witness the instruments being played during the "big river" peice, and that was amazing! and fun! hehe, and in the evening, lori, bev, devin and myself went out to dairy queen and we saw the "pirates of penzance" (i know i spelled it wrong, but i'm doing this in a hurry, so my apologies), at festival place. it was odd how both lori and bev ordered a smarties blizzard and how both devin and i ordered a mint oreo blizzard. and, devin still thinks i'm stalking him, if any of you care! well, the play was awesome! i knew i'd like it. it was odd how a uamc member was there (i think he thinks i'm his stalker, more on that some other time), so that kinda scared me. and if becca happens to read this, i think the subsitute conductor was there too. anyhoo, the play (musical) was awesome, and funny! i loved how they added in lines that dealt with current famous people and topics! that was superb! it was also funny how bev and devin made me cry so hard so that my stomach was hurting, but it wasn't that funny, actually. yes, well more on that another day i guess. so, to sum up, last night was funtastical!

now, for today! HAHAHAHA!!!! i, the loner, went to visit nathan carter and ali mukaddam (from "Radio Free Roscoe") for their autograph signing. it was fun! now, i thought it started at 10am, but it actually started at 12pm. however, i'm glad i went early (10am), otherwise i prolly wouldn't have recieved a ticket (u need one in order to get an autograph). so, the early morning wake up was actually worth it. well, while i was waiting in line, i was talking to this girl who was also alone (her friends were busy), so that passed by the time. however, she's 15 yrs old, so i guess i won't see her again. well, it was fun to talk to someone, otherwise i prolly would have died! hehe, i'm certain i was the oldest person there (not including the parents), yet the actors are my age! oh well, i was also surprised as to how many people were there. there were SO many people, even more than the 600 they said will get the autograph. wow, a lot of screaming little girls (and some boys), that's kinda scary. there were even 8 yr olds there, i'm not sure how that works, but whatevs. either way, i got my autographs which was sweet. now, nathan carter is the guy i used to like and the other one is the one i kinda like now (btw, 6 dreams occured with him, incase anyone with no life cares). so, when they were signing autographs, nathan carter was so sweet. he would say "hi, how are you?" and some other stuff, and "thanks for coming and watching the show". he was so friendly. ali mukaddam, was more the public spokesman of the 2. he would pump up the crowd and such, yet wouldn't talk to u much in person. whatevs, i don't care, i still had fun! hehe, yah, so that's 3 famous people and 2 famous groups i've met (all canadian), (nathan carter, ali mukaddam, nelly furtado, the trews and in essence). i didn't take a camera with me, so i don't have any pics. also, u couldn't actually get a picture with them, it would end up being of them, so that would be kinda useless. well, that's my story for this blogpost.

today marks the 6 month anniversary of amanda's death. it also marks the 4th year anniversary of the death of my dad's dad (he was 91 or 94 at the time, no one was sure of his exact age).

what a dumb date. anyway, i'd like to say yay, it's the weekend! and in 2 days, 2 guys from RFR are coming! hehe, sorry i didn't get u a tape of any episodes, lori. oh well, i guess u won't be coming :( that's okay, i can go by myself and look funny, or maybe i won't go, i dunno anymore. i did have 5 dreams about one of the guys (one of the other), and they were real dreams, not DAYdreams! hehe, who knows what'll happen on sunday morning. wow, there are like 3 or 4 songs called "sunday morning", freaky, eh?

"Yesterday, when four RCMP officers were killed in the line of duty near Edmonton, all of our lives changed.
At a time like this, it is simply impossible to continue with radio games, especially a game of "chase" such as "The 96X $20,000 Fugitive". The tragic events of yesterday remind us that tracking down a Fugitive is not a game for those in law enforcement. Four young men paid the ultimate price in their pledge to protect all of us.
Tens of thousands of 96X listeners have put time and effort into playing The Fugitive. We are so grateful for your dedication to this contest and this radio station and have plans for rewards in the near future. Hold on to your Agent Journals and stay tuned to 96X as we do intend to reveal the former Fugitive's identity to those of you who were playing along.
At this point, we just cannot, in good conscience, continue this contest. We are pulling the Fugitive off the air and, more importantly, 96X has decided to donate the $20,000 intended as a prize to the families of the fallen officers. We are also currently accepting donations for these families at our studios under Little Miracles. We will keep the funds in a sub-category to have all monies be put into a specific trust fund for the families. Our studios are located at 4752-99 street. Donations can be dropped off during our business hours; 8:30am to 4:30pm from Monday to Friday.
Please stay tuned to 96X for updates on our contesting. In the meantime, please consider the police in our community in your thoughts and prayers."

hey everyone! well, i hope that everyone had a nice week back to school (i know i did-sarcasm!). oh well, whatevs, i guess it's what we have to do. bah!

nothing exciting this week, except someone broke some glassware during my chem lab today and someone else lit some lab reports on fire, his bunsen burner fell over or something. see, the "fire guy" is next to me but i didn't realize what happened until after, it was interesting seeing the TA try to blow off the flame and step on the labs!

i would like to mention a sad note. today marks the 6 month anniversary of the car crash, and the deaths of stef and luke. tomorrow is actually the 6 month anniversary of amanda's death, not saturday.
